THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH

Thanks God for this Happiest Place On Earth!

More in particular - THE FEAST ORTIGAS!

Here we go...!

Impressions - yeah you're right. This is a place of worship. But not limited to it.
This is a place of acceptance. A place of wounded people. A place of wandering souls. A place where Jesus is becoming more famous.

A place where "MIRACLES ARE NOW SHOWING."

You have here oceans of humanity hungering for God's love - hungering for God's blessings and hungering to share God's love.

Here are beautiful guys behind the scene that make things happen for THE FEAST!

Worship has never been this good!

So come and join the fun!

Swim with us at the oceans of blessing!

Happens every Monday 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, at Robinsons Galleria, Origas Avenue, Ortigas Pasig City.

And of course every Sunday 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, at Meralco Multi-Purpose Hall, Meralco Compound, Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City. Near Medical City.

God is Goodness and Life is beautiful!

RTU CARING GROUP

Thanks God for this caring band of brothers!

The RTU Caring Group. That's how we call it. Not really big - just handfuls of boys.

Of course below are silent witnesses of our pack:

My soiled plate!

The undying gustatory admiration at pizza!

And of course the palabok reinforcement!

We belong to the working class. So home and cozy couch is the dream date of us after a day's work. But then we would drag our feet to see each others warm smile over these tummy teasers.

Brotherhood has never been this great!

Life is beautiful!

KUNG FU PANDA

Thanks heavens for this really deep thought!

The Kung-Fu Panda!

I thought it was just another movie, and I thought really long. I've been watching the movie for gazillion times. Lately I just got something really deep from the movie.

It is contained in the secret scroll.

The scroll is most coveted, sought-after and was worth the return of the public enemy number one of the entire village.

Only to find out-----there was nothing there but a blurry reflection of the one holding the scroll.

OK.
The thought is this. There is nothing really special about Po the Panda only that somewhere up there (at the Jade Palace) somebody believes in him - and that is Master Oogway.

Yup, except his fat flabby parts, perhaps his tonnage weight and his "utter disregard to hygiene" nothing more is intimidating about Po - no claws, no poisonous stingers, no venom, whatsoever. Until Master Shifu figured out a way on how to train him to be a dragon warrior made to defeat a sinister - Tai Lung.

Oogway's confidence in Po connects to what Po's dad thought him - the secret ingredient of his special soup which was later relieved that the secret ingredient is NOTHING.

"In order for one to be special, you just have to believe he's special."

The same thing is true with the Secret Scroll - nothing is in there except that you just have to believe that YOU ARE SPECIAL!

Mr. Ping: The secret ingredient is... nothing!
Po: Huh?
Mr. Ping: You heard me. Nothing! There is no secret ingredient.
Po: Wait, wait... it's just plain old noodle soup? You don't add some kind of special sauce or something?
Mr. Ping: Don't have to. To make something special you just have to believe it's special.
[Po looks at the scroll again, and sees his reflection in it]
Po: There is no secret ingredient...

This orchestrate with the philosophy I've learned that "Man is the measure of all things." At your own perspective, nothing is special to you unless you allow it to be special.

Here's some really deep quotable exchange between Oogway and Shifu:

Oogway: My friend, the panda will never fulfill his destiny, nor you yours until you let go of the illusion of control.
Shifu: Illusion?
Oogway: Yes. [points at peach tree]
Oogway: Look at this tree, Shifu: I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time.
Shifu: But there are things we *can* control: I can control when the fruit will fall, I can control where to plant the seed: that is no illusion, Master!
Oogway: Ah, yes. But no matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.
Shifu: But a peach cannot defeat Tai Lung!
Oogway: Maybe it can, if you are willing to guide, to nurture it, to believe in it.
Shifu: But how? How? I need your help, master.
Oogway: No, you just need to believe. Promise me, Shifu, promise me you will believe.

And here is more between Po and Master Oogway. This is where Master Oogway consoled Po on his way to depression.

Oogway: So why are you so upset?
Po: I probably sucked more today than anyone in the history of kung fu. In the history of China.
In the history of sucking! And the Five! Man, you should've seen them! They totally hate me.
Oogway: Totally.
Po: How is Shifu ever going to turn me into the Dragon Warrior? I mean, I'm not like the Five. I've got no claws, no wings, no venom. Even Mantis has those... thingies. Maybe I should just quit and go back to making noodles.
Oogway: Quit, don't quit. Noodles, don't noodles. You are too concerned with what was and what will be. There's a saying: Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.

Well, guys it's up for you now to make yourself - no one else does but you!

God is Goodness and life is beautiful!

MERALCO RELOADED

Thanks God for the nice weather and friendly neighbors around!

Just have my best foot at Meralco Avenue and this place is so calm and comely during Sundays. Long walk from Gate 1 to the Multi-purpose Hall then back gives my feet a walk to remember.

But this shot never missed the moment here. It's a nice serene place despite being at the heart of the City. An area this big, noises from outside never stand a chance.

Looking up, you'll see nothing but a triumphant heralding bright sunshine who wants to get even with my C905 Sony Ericsson Cybershot.

Gotcha!

KRISPY KREME

Thanks Heavens for this generous Krispy treats!

Krispy Kreme was her name, lol.

Camaraderie,  friendship sense of belonging has never been this great over a cup of broth wild tasting coffee brought to you by Krispy Kreme. With limited edition suggestively baked doughnuts.

Generosity just keeps coming and pouring in. I'm maybe out of budget this day - but it's not too short for these a bit expensive confectioneries.

Now who says only money can buy these - friends too did it again. ha ha ha

The world is so generous, we just forget to be sensitive about it's graces and be thankful for it most of the time.

AILEEN RELOADED

Thanks God goodness for a reloaded encounter with a girl so dear!

Aileen reloaded!

You assume the next sequel will be Revolution - you bet! ha ha ha

Padre Pio Chapel at Eastwood, Libis is the point of encounter of one of my kind - flesh of my flesh and bone of my bone - a beautiful, smart, comely and worth-the-wait woman. She's late, lol.

Now this time with flowery twist along the way. Princess (a flower messenger from Cubao is instrumental) give a hand on the bouquet of assorted flowers - thanks young lady!

Tummy-ups at Kogi Bulgogi; don't know exactly, perhaps a Japanese restaurant. A cool ambiance give it a nice impression for me.

This time we take a shot or two of Maki and some sort of exotic combi of dishes around. Chopsticks were forks and spoons at this time. I have a lot of hard time taming all these sticks in my pinky - grrrr!

After our gustatory has been soiled out, time to wash them with sweets at Dulcinea (a confectionery hub for sweet tooth - like her).

Then time gets a little zesty with the nocturnal singing birds giving the two of us some endearing sweet golden tunes. Their chorus are finely tunes like a newly honed piano unit.

So, to say - God must have spent a little more time on us now. I wish for a comeback!

Just few dating tips I have learned from this. It's ok to make a girl laugh and laugh (as what I did), but be sure it's clean. What I mean is, it must not be discriminating, dehumanizing and arrogant. Most of all don't make fun of her. If you can't get your nose out of dirty jokes, better not joke at all.

Second, make her feel like she's the center of the universe. Refrain from comparing other woman to her. Like when a woman pass by and you wish her skirt were hers too. And most of all avoid looking suggestively at other woman around.

Give her your full attention!

Third, don't be too verbal. Listen, listen & listen. She wants to say something.

And a lot more...

Lastly, always learn and don't forget to affirm her for the date. But most of all don't forget to appreciate yourself for a job well done.

Always don't forget that there Is the Big Guy up holding your head always!

STAINLESS MAKE-OVERS

Thanks Heavens for the Extreme Stainless Make-Overs!

This is extreme!

One piece of these equipments took me 4 hours at most to give new skin or make-over. These are stainless (mostly) kitchen equipments for a project magazine of mine in my present company - EagleWings International Corporation.

Basics are: Levels, Pen tool, Marque tool, Color mode and so on and the greatest of these is MOTION BLUR! ha ha ha

Here take a look:

There you go.

Looking forward to jotting my tutorials here. The making is very fun, promise! But don't hit me if you dont, ha ha!

Thanks my Divine Master for this (these) prolific talents - you are my source of infinite creativity - I bless you with these!

ALVIN THE GREAT

Thanks God for this Yellow Cab experience in behalf of a post-birthday treat of a friend!

Let me call him Alvin - the great! ha ha ha

Like these two cuttie pups, he is a friend ever! A one of a kind in the herd of us boys. Cunning and occasionally funny. Assertive with profound spirituality - a grace to nature and, and to our tummy! lol

Best foot forward to SM Megamall, it's a good eating up here.

It's a kind of pasta with oily brownish to black sauce with sour start-up taste and a common hmmm down to the gullet. Fortunately, it went summed-up before I took a shot.

Anyhow, here are the successors - the remainders. But wait, I guess this was it! It has peanut garnishing, with mushroom and pickles?!

It rocks!!!

Here's the never dying and the never ending pizza blockbuster of Yellow Cab. You know, just somewhere nestled at SM Megamall.

Hmm, I'm not a fan of pizza - only this time...and the other time. lol

SALESMAN STINT

Thanks God for a salesman stint!

This is a big day! I'm a graphic artist turned salesman in three hours, lol! Cubao, Quezon City is elemental for me this day.

I've got a mission to do - distribute flyers and brochures of my company to 30 food stores and restaurant managers around Araneta Center (from SM Cubao, Ali Mall, Shopwise etc...). Besides, I have to talk to them about our product like a real salesman does. Selling is not my thing, I guess. Sales talk fetters my mind every time I heard of it.

But I prayed...

...and did it afraid!

Guess what, I successfully strut my stuff and earn my mane! In three hours time, all 30 brochures and flyers where goners. And all 30 were sealed for a probable sales contacts.

I thought it was difficult to do stuff like this. But I enjoyed it instead. Scampering and basking the searing heat of the day around Araneta Center is also fun while keeping in mind the dialogue "can I talk with your store manager or something?" ha ha ha

Sometimes things in life might be so intimidating. Sometimes also we just have to try to tip our best foot on the water. And just like that, before we even know, we get our whole self enjoying the dept of the water with our whole body getting drenched - not just the toe.

Enjoy life, God loves you so much!

PHILOSOPHY AND CONFECTIONERY

Thanks Heavens for the sweet philosophical treat!

Only that, I have forgotten the name of the store. But here's the a PHP 70.00 cup of "cerealicious" con ice cream con whatever! lol

Taste good and not bad with the price - but I promise to taste it once in a blue moon. Well, that's good eating with my Moral Philosophy book I missed a lot for lot of years since my philosophical orientation. I guess I'm trying to figure out the philosophy of Immanuel Kant and his "Categorical Imperative," "Emotivism," "Subjectivism" and "Objectivism."

What!?

Well, If you wanna learn more about it, then google is of great help. ha ha

GOOD NIGHT SLEEP

Thanks God for a good night shut eyes!

I always make sure to take some few winks after I arrive from work. You know it's a long eigh-hour working cycle that gets me to the bottom of my energy. It' s so refreshing after an hour or two of those trance.

You've got to try it!

Oh, this one's not me!

Not me either! But worth a while, isn't it. I just knew her as Leah Dizon, an American-born model, actress and singer.

I said good night sleep. He's not asleep either! he he he

MERALCO COMPOUND

Thanks God it's Sunday!

Well this is Meralco compound, small it seems from the outside but terribly and grossly big big from the inside. It would take few hundred steps to the other establishment.

We have here boasting skyscrapers of Ortigas (Avenue) that flag those tress below like shrubs.

I don't know if I could have one of these! Hmmm I'll take this note!

This one's a long road to somewhere else inside Meralco Compound. This gives me a fresh morning breath every time. A heaven sent place for nature lover. The place is a bit stashed with fresh wild greens all over. I enjoyed my best foot here!

Hmmm, haaaah! lol

HACIENDA LUISITA

Thanks Heavens for this off day at Hacienda Luisita!

It's a long trip to Tarlac from the foot of Manila with our hot wheels climbing up northbound highways. But scenery after scenery caught up my attention every time.

For a stop over, this one rocks!

Somewhere in Tarlac, this honky-tonky lonely train that never go anywhere catches my eyes. An amusing anachronism at the center of a modernized city of Tarlac. His rail seems won't let him go any further. Anyway, we love you stay than go! lol

Going back from Tarlac, my Sony Ericsson C905 was able to catch few (le grande bestselling, uhum) shoots of all time.

En route back to Manila still part of the probing of the Filipino 1st's Save The Nation Tipid Challenge Caravan.

You'll see Hacienda Luisita's bliss right here. You know, like heaven is place on earth.

Thanks God for a nice day off. Looking forward for another trip. Guess, somewhere else, El Nido, Boracay, Bantayan Island, Grand CaƱon, Angel Falls, Mount Everest, North Pole...ha ha ha!
